What do I do?
Blurry vision, hot tears in my view,
Opportunities came, said hi, then away they flew.
I feel alone in a crowd,
Around many bright lights, but cast in a shroud,
My thoughts, so confusing, I can't say them aloud.
How will I get by?
I want to leave and give up, I know I should try,
But one more night like this and I might die.
Never felt this way,
Living day to day,
Losing, finding, then again losing my way,
Waiting for the end, the 31st of May .
Fantasizing of summer nights with you,
When I see you, all I can do...
Blurry vision, awed, happy tears in my view,
Opportunities came, said "hi, I want to stay with you".
I feel on top of the world in a crowd,
Around many bright lights, knowing I'm the most important one in your comforting love cloud.
How will I get by?
One night with you and you convince me I can fly,
I want to leave and give up, but to you I could never say goodbye.
Never felt this way,
Living day to day,
Loving, molding, then again loving you among the fray,
I'm waiting for the end, that final awful day,
That marks the exciting beginning, of many, many, long summer nights with you.
