Sonia Jackson's Christmas blues

* -for Sonia*

if I could

I would fly away

to be with you

I would like to hear

the sounds of mandolins

once again

by your side

smiling

laughing

but today

I do not smile

because it is days like this

which remind me

of how much I miss you

even when my husband is with me

even when my children are with me

I miss you

I miss you

I am yours

and even in the distance

you are mine

my love...

my family
