Oh, I struggle
Oh, how I struggle
to make you my love.
For there is no greater thing
that I have ever known
than this over powering love
that burns within me
both day and night
and I can find no rest
until I can hold you in my arms
and breath in your sweet breath.
Oh, your celestial form
more lovely than the stars
that burn in the depths of space.
Oh, how you have cast your spell over me!
I am caught within your heart
as though I were some sea creature
dredged up from the dark depths of the ocean
and my fate is held captive by your heart.
Oh, shall you love me and grant me my life
or shall you doom me to a loveless fate worse than death!
Oh, you are a fire within my blood
that burns all the fibers of my being without mercy!
Oh, I shall be yours forever
with all my hopes and all my love abiding within you
and in you they shall ever remain.
Though I suffer and die a thousand deaths
to you I shall ever remain true
till time and eternity have run its course.
