Me
I don't belong to anyone.
I belong to myself.
Every strand of my hair on my head
Every flake of skin
Every scratch, cut, bruise, and wound.
They are all mine.
Every freckle, pimple, and tear.
They all belong to me.
Every broken piece of my heart that is shattered,
Belongs to me.
So don't ever think I belong to you.
Don't ever think any of me will ever be yours to keep.
My strands of hair do not match those of yours.
My skin is not covering your body.
My scratches, cuts, bruises, and wounds do not match those of yours.
My freckles are not in the same patterns or places of those on your body and all my imperfections will never be the same as yours.
My tears do not fall the same as yours do and my heart is shattered in a way yours never will.
So don't think I will ever belong to you.
I don't belong to anyone.
I belong to myself.
