Fading smile

once there was a smile

that was planted on a little girls face

it shined without cue

and it was kissed by her mother and father

each night

once there was a smile

that was glued onto a lonely girls face

it smiled because it had to

to cover up inside

and it pierced it's lips together

so it won't be kissed by the boys

once there was a girl with no smile

it had runaway

the girl never got a new one

because there was no reason to

the girl tragically faded with her smile

and they were both gone
