Train your brain,
avoid ignorance's stain.
Let them think you are going insane.
And if the quest for knowledge seems mundane,
know that no honest question is in vain
and that only wisdom will remain.
Why stay the same? - Reign.

Yet don't do it just for gain,
it's never worth the wailing of the slain.
Aim to ease suffering and pain.
Don't strive to strike a gold vein.
And even though gold looks bright,
it's true value is the path of a meteorite.
For all should be in enlightenment's name.
that will be your crutch, your sharpened cane.

Laugh at the rats' looks of disdain.
They plan to knock you off your horse
and onto their plain.
Hold on firmly to the rein.
If you are slipping, bite the mane.
Rise over them on wisdom's crane
Let that lift you like a plane.
Reach the clouds to make rain and
let the flow of logic wash your brain.
Flood the rats down the drain
flushing doubt's very last grain
till no shiny distractions remain.

So stay on the rails
of that train of thought.
Steady your tracks with nails,
hang on even if you're losing nails.
Make the lot look like snails
and drive them off the rails.
Cause ******* walks, but savvy sails.
Savvy?
