New Years
The good times you've had
Are not sewed in time
Just 'cause it's a new day
They're not all left behind
The bad memories held
Move on when it's your time
To let go is your choice
Don't let one day decide
Remember you're in control
On what you choose to do
Your experiences, your decisions
Are entirely up to you
Though it's just a number
And nothing will really change
The idea of new perspectives
Will not be tamed
Not always a goodbye
Sometimes another hello
Expand into the new year
If there's too much to let go
I wish you experiences
Adventures, love, and luck
I wish you good memories
That you will never give up
Have faith in each day
And fulfill every smile
Remember life is short
So make yours worth while
