Paralyzing hope

by zack-witzig

I can soar on the wings of the my false hope and I can breathe forever drowning in my lies but when I look to the eyes that gaze into my eyes like burrow that leads to my soul all you will see is the small man that I have become because the point I have reached is where my hope has stunned and paralyzed me to my core why is it that the fear of losing those eyes is the reason I can move and miss your hand to keep you by my side
