My hands could not reach the cupboards
When I was young I was always the dreamer
I was the hero that saved
Sticks were swords
But I could never reach the cupboards

*

I'm still a dreamer
And I still need her
She was mess
I guess
As I'm sliding off her dress
And yes
I'm blessed
Cuz we shared the same bed
Where I rest my head
Its where I dream of you
