Cardinal Chains
Cardinal Chains
Fallen beneath the cross
Shed this crown of thorns
Stumbling through the madness
Blacker than Adam's scorn
Fires on the earth
Echo savior bells
Hoping to the sky
A dream in which to dwell
Souls cry in the chaos
Judgment drawing near
No solace no escape
No hiding deepest fears
We scream across the River
Floating lifeless on a prayer
Sunken dream of salvation
Bathe the burning sins we bear
So it's fate, without free will
The choices already made
Gamble on your good deeds
Your cards already played
Cardinal chains upon me
Punished as all the ******
Suffering life unto death
Followed footsteps of the lamb
