That One Girl
She was that lonely girl
Living with the shadows
Screaming silent words
In hope to be heard
She was that weird girl
With her typical black tights and mini shorts
With her earphones blasting music
In hope to be escape reality
She was that frighten girl
Daydreaming about her nightmares
Coming, oh! always coming back to haunt her
In hope to keep her awake all night
She was that puzzling girl
Saying yes, then no and ending up to say maybe
Being happy then sad and ending up to feel numb
In hope to- to what?
I guess we’ll never know
Because we must realize
That behind all of those sweet smiles
Hid a girl that gave up… long ago
