Poems
Jan 2016
A new start
to be free
I threw
the last stone
into our glassy
swallow pond
murky with the lies
we’d tried to build
a life upon .
Ripples of freedom
sent to my heart
my soul
will be happier
Now we will be
forever apart.
To be free
you won’t be there
any more
I don’t wish
to say goodbye.
Or
see you one last time
like all the times
You needed me
you would say
now, we will never
ever ….find out why?
You didn’t
even know me
Nor did You
ever try.
