I really like the hazely brown eyes that peer at me from across the table
I really like the laughter that rings,
The joy that they bring

I really like the freedom we have
Dancing around the boundaries of what should never be said
Daring to playfully utter the questions, what might be crossing a hidden line
Breaking unwritten rules, what is still forbidden?

I really like words that were said
So meaningless, so pure
But holding so much importance

I really like us
Our nothingness in friendship
Our wholeness as two separates
Two people with no need for the other
