This is a tale of marvel and wonder
Of adventure and treasures
So full of Splendor
Not gold, nor money could ever compare
To allow yourself to be free of all care
To absorb a new scent, to learn a new thing
Curiosity, what a curious thing
But, I digress from the adventure at hand
I must now tell you about this man
He packed his belongings
Yearning for something new
He undertook an adventure to grow, he grew
Left his family and friends with a heavy heart
But deeper down he knew, he needed the fresh start
He traveled miles upon miles to a foreign land
He knew not the language, nor how to get around
But quickly he learned to open his mind,
His heart did follow close behind
He adapted and grew
With friendships anew
Bond deeper than oak roots
Friends truer than true

He felt he learned about the world and himself too
He felt he had re-blossomed
Like the spring flowers in bloom
An awakening of the spirit,
A stimulant to the mind
These are the treasures that will last a lifetime.
The moral of the tale is simple as this….
Experience, indulge, and give this big world a look
It’s never too late to rewrite your book.
