Perplexed was the night that consumed me
Confusing as the sun, I surely wanted none.

Childhood innocence, if only we knew more.
Wandering the moments of life’s path.

Future-minded reminiscence, I wish to implore.
You were my waking dream.
And it was so, as night faded into morning,
so, too, was I.
