My body so close ground does not feel the frozen earth penetrating deep into my soul. My ribs they root themselves into the ground. My heart so openly joins that of the worlds, like a drum beating to the ancient steps of a lingering dance stuck in a memory of the past. My eyes, wide, become the stars, the light we see that so long ago burnt out. My eyes become the dead, the alive and the ones not awaken yet. I am the universe.
