Dec 2015
It’s been ages
From the Word to BC to AD
You are classic
From King to Obama to the future
You are Timeless

                Every breath, I lose you
I lose you, I gain my life
You have no eyes, no ears and you hearken not
Running senselessly from a dire man
I'm not long like my journey
Heed this I need you
TIME

So precious
A second flashes before me like the last breath
Of your essence I can’t compare to anything
I recognize it’s simply TIME

I’ve heard a lot about you
From the sun, the moon, the shadows
The markings of your comings and goings on my skin
The mortal me, the invincible you

My eyes saw not the soulful you
Till my life paid a tribute to the lost time
I salute
