Questioning Love

Can it be said That each lover knows All about the other? Can it be said That a lover is Half of a whole? Does love, that ever-elusive emotion Find itself lost among the tangles of the heart? I will never know you Nor you I; Will I ever love you Or you I? Would we know it if we did? Can we truly feel at all? Or will we slowly turn to dust Deceived, thinking that love is real? Will knowing decide our lives?
