Oh, my dear love
how you are the only flower that grows in my soul.
Oh, turn not your heart from me
for you are the only one for whom my heart beats.
Oh, my life and my purpose I find in you
and how you are the one I dream of.
You fill my mind and heart
from the day's dawning to the setting of the sun.
Oh, my dear love my heart is forever yours.
If Only I could find the words to tale of my love
that I love every breath you take
and long to hear every beat of your heart.
Oh, if I could but prove my love for you.
Oh, if I could give my life to you.
Oh, if you so dearly desire to take my life from me
I would freely give it to prove my love to you!
And only for you does my heart sing.
Oh, let me love you to my dying day.
Oh, if I have said some careless or thoughtless word
I bear for it my deepest regret.
For I have loved you from the first hour
I have ever known of you!
And all my life I live for you.
Oh, without you my sadness knows no end,
and with you my heart sings its joy without measure.
Oh, let me embrace you, and tell you of my endless love for you.
And let us walk through life hand in hand
and pity those with no love in there heart.
