I see everything from up here
I am a watcher
I see disagreements in the streets
I see the remnants of war, and the flickers of the past coming back to life
I see a couple kiss
I see the calm this action has on others
I see the absolute strength of love trying to overpower hate
I see it in the mother’s eye
I see it in the musician’s chords
I see it the city move along
Without a clue of what I have seen.
