take me somewhere else.

Nervous, timid, slow, Shaking, breathing, Shivers, the deep-pit feeling inside your stomach Knots tie, butterfly feeling. Speaking slowly, softly, Guilty, instant crush. The words, harshly spoken, They hurt, They bleed, They bite. It’s starting all over again. Listening though not seemingly, Quiet, thinking, Questioning, No answer. They still come, Enter, register, and exit. That’s what you think? How nice. Thoughts scramble, Still no reply, The words cease. Time passes by, life flies on. The streets have gone, that is the past. Words are left unsaid, It is pointless. Awkward silence, Tense, and angry, Wind blows, its cold. So what? Comforting sounds, less quiet. Deeply thinking, This is my life, No dreaming. See the buildings and the tree tops, Hear the sounds, sun set, It takes me somewhere else.
