Nov 2015
walk on your path, hope for your dream
reality beckons, causing a scream
so much has gone on, so much still to be
the lessons you face, not easy to see
some things never stop, never they do
until you grow up, or die with no clue
facing each day, put a smile on your face
insides all twisted, want out of this race
believing in something, you think that you can
yet forced to reject it, and abandon your plan
try as you might, and try just some more
realize too late, you've got the wrong door
less sure of your purpose, confused and alone
always surrounded, yet remaining unknown
speak your real self, expressing whats true
even if conflict, is all that comes through
don't yield to the pressure, protect who you are
stay true to yourself, wrong cannot  go far
celebrate you they should, respect sows the seeds
those that do not, consider them weeds
clean all around, leave only the joy
or forever be played, forever the toy
