Dancing with a waxy partner
My heat is precious, smoke an old friend
The loneliness closes in, smothering me
Until cold snuffs me out
Afraid of the nothingness
I need my warmth, my fleeting existence
To share my waltz with the world
I want to be free, to burn forever
But I am trapped in a transparent cage

I am the candle flame
