I sit here with much disdain.
They utter words of shame.
They never spoke a word to me.
Yet they judge from what they see.
They ****** me as if to say,
a sin I've committed.
They say I played you out,
had you manipulated.
The hand-me-down rumors,
are but a phase that soon shall pass.
Don't spit those remarks behind me,
don't assume but ask.
Have I no right to what I've seek before the alter?
Do I stand before you seeking your approval?
Why are you so deemed on sending me to exile?
Is this too much a sin to swallow down?
And still I sit here with much disdain.
I pray to seal those tongues that utter words of shame.
