She's hanging by a thread,
almost six feet down,behold.
Her heart is cold,
fifteen below.
She knew there was no fairy tale,
no happy endings in every book.
She merely thought you were different,
when she stopped with a second look.
You were that knight in shinning armour,
who took her by the hand.
And still the very same knight in shinning armour,
who banished her from this land.
As if intoxicated,
by some form of cruel potion.
What you had with her before,
was no cure for a little negotiation.
She'd read this book before,
too familiar for her own good.
She just didn't think it could be the same,
you seemed better than you should.
She's hanging by a thread,
almost six feet down, behold.
You know she'll hold the last laugh,
boy, you've been told.
