Jolt

Have you ever found yourself wishing to be struck by lightning? Waiting for that moment where your body seizes up When you spent what seems like infinite moments Being caught between a breath and a pulse All time stretches as if it is being pulled By a force you dont know yet But you will know it soon That excruciating force will become a part of you It will stretch you to the brink of snapping Then, at the last millisecond It will let go of you and leave you suspended Till the ground catches your stiff, your soul gone Who finds themselves wishing for that forceful jolt? That last spark of life given and life taken away A force of life that, for a split second, becomes a part of you And the same force that will tear you apart
