I listen

by @sussi-inge-kirchhof-lassen

I listen to my friends, I listen to my enemies and hear a whole lot of things. When people are talking, I listen to the words they are speaking, to the tone in their voice, to the speed of their talking, to the kind of words they are using, to their breathing, laughter and crying, hear when they talk, talk, talk because they fear to be asked questions. I listen with both ears and my gut feelings, and with my sense of smelling – I notice the changes in their body languages’ scents. But if you feel I do not listen, because you think I do not listen to you then you know now, that this is a lie. because when I listen and sense and I listen with my heart and think with my brains but follow my own path, then it isn’t because I didn’t listen to you!
