Indian Summer September
one day i know you will see
a strength about me never shown
enough to take a few steps back
but this time you will be alone
all the tears that I ever cried for you,
you soon will remember
when chill of winter comes your way
right after Indian Summer September
and maybe you will never miss
my heart that was so true
perhaps it will be because
it was always just about just you
the way you love so shallow
the kindness never given
even though I always forgave of you yours
my flaws were not ever forgiven
and yes I surely will miss
our plans we made together
but I am pretty sure
your love changes with the weather
I was always the one who took
such care of your heart and being
but now my eyes are wide open
and I am hating what I'm seeing
and maybe you love me in the way that you know
the cussing and mental abuse
but one day I will be so long gone
and you'll have to find another to use
but please don't find another like me
who you will trick into believing
that you most love her dearly
as you treat her like you're leaving
let her be, let her grow... before she met you,
she smiled
don't invade her heart with what you call "love"
because inside she is still a child
when you come to realize the reason for all of your physical pain, is coming from the one who says...."I love you"
