I tell them some of mine
I hear them confidentially
I listen to the whine
I help them without knowing
I do it without thinking
I ask them many questions
I realize that they’re sinking
I try to save them, but
I know they’ll do it on their own
I try to keep them talking
I think I’ve finally shown
That they have no real problems
That it’s all in their own mind
But I keep on listening
It’s for themselves to find
