Dawn

Midnight cries at the sunrise, lusting over the vibrant colors She cries for the colors the sun cannot bring Wishing she could slip in at dawn But midnight stays stuck, lusting over what she cannot have The sunrise smiles warmth to the kind night sky Moonbeams mix with the last rays of sun Kissing softly in the wind Blowing across the eyes of sleeping lovers Dreaming of forever But the sunrise and midnight only last a moment Lingering in their bliss of momentary dawn
