words like vapour exit through my veins to these white walls,
vanishing without sense, without meaning

leaving nothing but noise, quiet noise
drowning me, drowning you, drowning us

apologies lost like dust in dark rooms, forgotten like memories faded after too many years spent trying to forget why this space has grown between two such naive animals
