The Lavish Black Lady
I am lavish
I am lavish,
Said the rich black lady
No longer am I bond by slavery
My house is luxurious,
And my backyard is enormous
My life is prosperous,
And my garden is glamorous.
I love the fresh fragrance of roses
I love the elegance with which they posses
I arose every morning before the sun rise,
I sway with the colorful butterflies
I am happy, so happy to see another day
I am happy the breath of life blew my way
I am lavish
I am lavish
Said the rich black lady
No longer am I bound by slavery.
