Wilted Memories

Evade my memories, you never will,

no longer do I see

the slope of your nose,

the arch of your brows,

the curl of your lashes.

Feel your lips, I do,

see your eyes, I may,

but your face, evades me so.

From green to orange,

The snow, it drowns,

Life comes around.

Four times, this pattern,

Evade my memories, you never will

Feel your grasp, I do

Taste your words, I may

still, your love, evades me so.

From green to orange,

The snow, it drowns,

Life comes around

Five times this pattern,

Evade my memories, you never will.
