It's only "what if," but O! what an if,
my dear, you have given to me.
Catapulting my spirit to fabulous heights
to float with white clouds and the like.
How often does dreaming turn into reality?
and so far, it's looking so good.
A spark in my eye that wasn't just there
sets off a grin in the crease of my mouth.
It's only "what if," but most marvellous if!
I take hold of the possible fast
and run with it only as much as I can
and collapse in joyful reverie.
