I.
a shining city,
rich with a tangible pleasures
and docile smiles

II.
skyscrapers gleaming;
invisible almost ‘til
somebody leaps off

concrete streets over
flowing with cigarette butts
where flowers should be

IV.

breathe deep venomous air where
oxygen should be

V.
