The cold brings out the warmth in people.
We start to cuddle down and bundle up.
We spend days inside around a fire or cup of something hot.
Our bodies get cold, but our hearts get warm.

We choose to spend our nights inside with that special someone.
We chose not the wild crazy nights.

So many different senses spur up memories.
Too many memories to grab hold of any specifics.
Just left with the feelings that were caused.
The smells, the tastes, the sounds of music,
All with so many memories attached

Hearts grow bigger in the cold.
People become more charitable.
More giving.

Walks are taken to soak in the beautiful scenery.
Hands are held through jackets and gloves.
Jack Frost brings a quick end to most,
forcing people back into the warmth.

They say that summer is the happiest season.
But just try to not be happy in the cold.
Because the cold outside brings out the warmth in people.
