Shadows

We’re just the shadows of the people we used to be They ran away in the woods, all thoughts left behind You trailed your way towards the abyss, the empty I told you to jump, not to change your mind We tend to wish for things we don’t need We tend to long for feelings we don’t believe You opened your eyes and you pushed me Into the open, into the sea
