These flower petals,
Flutter to the ground,
Each one with your name,
Slowly falling away from me.

The breeze sweeps them away,
Carrying them through the air.
Past towns and cities,
Where you’ll never be.

Traveling even further,
Being lost within nowhere.
Never being found,
No longer able to see.

The make their way to you,
Landing softly in your hands,
Giving you the courage and strength,
To make your way back to me.
