if you should go there, to find your silly resolve.
the place that everyone knows about, but seldom thought of.
if you should go there, dressed in black for your wedding day.
the apparition watching a casket and the funeral cavalcade.

if you should go there, with memories of me in tow.
let our love permeate in the afterlife, let our reverie be the afterglow.
if you should go there again, take it with you-
the original sin.

take it with you, again and again.

if you should go there again, clutching lilac petals,
camera hung like a gold medal.

take it with you, again and again.

if you should go there again, will you find resolve in the ink of the dirt?
will you remember love so full that your heart burst?

if you should go there again, mirrors reflecting your waning skin.

pin ***** the dimples from your face,

take it with you, again and again.
