The Man in the Lounging Chair.
I haven't made
the mistake
in so long.
the mistake of watching
you move
and twist,
lit like a cigarette.
I haven't let my eyes follow you,
wander to you,
search for you,
like the way
they naturally
do
[I haven't let them find you]
in so long.
This was supposed to help me heal.
