A fragile wish upon a shooting star
Sends me wondering just how you are
As I wander through the nebulous night
Accompanied only by a settling satellite
I couldn't describe a feeling any worse
The devastation of this collision course

I've searched the world through a telescope
Never erasing any signs of hope
That there is a life to live out there
But what if you are the only where

Desolated I circle beyond the expanse
Holding out for one last dance
We'll walk among the lights
leave behind remnant fights
As I make my way through the abyss
I can find some place filled with bliss

Maybe somewhere out in a different life
With this will there would be a way to end the strife
We could take back all of our lost time
There isn't a hill we couldn't clime
I'd do anything to bring myself back to you
I'll swim across oceans murky blue

Standing still stuck stationary
Distracted by the signs that may very
Devastated by the masqueraded mood
You are the only answer I come to conclude
For just another taste of those lips
I would face the apocalypse

Desolated I circle beyond the expanse
Holding out for one last dance
We'll walk among the lights
leave behind remnant fights
As I make my way through the abyss
I can find some place filled with bliss

There will eventually come to be a day
When things will maybe go our way
As the sky starts to rip apart
Guided by memories of the start
I'll always remember exactly who you are
Making my wishes on every falling star
