Oct 2015
another bullet, another hole
drips lifes blood, from the soul
another body on the streets
surrounded by wailing screams
yellow ribbons, a crime scene
wash the stain, down the drain
clean this spot, hope never again
walk past, just a glance,in a trance
focus on us, trying to advance
sorry it happen, life,s a chance
the safety of home, in our sites
survived the day, dodging meteorites
the morning offers up, the sun bright
today the day change has come
that's what I prayed for last night
