On The Delaware Bay

In open tides, is where love lies, across the Delaware Bay I sadly cried, as the waves died, for there was nothing left to say.  In the warmest wind, I felt so small Without, within, and through it all With the shore out of sight, I became blind Losing faith in who I might find I searched for you, on the port side But couldn't see you through the open tides Where my love lied, where our love died, where your heart went away Through all these storms, I cried On the Delaware Bay
