Dark Moments

Dark moments invade my restless dreams, As I lay sleeping in my bed each night. Rays of sunlight chases the demons away, Keeping me safe until darkness comes again. Morning brings relief from the nightmares, Only they return when the sun goes down. Monsters of the night invade my dreams, Enticing me with soft sensuous kisses. Nothing can save me from the darkness, Temptation too strong for me to resist, Seduced by the promise of eternal life.
