Poems
Sep 2015
streetlamp said,
Streetlamp's effusions,
uncaring,
rain down on
milky flesh clad in
shapeless polyester
and pockmarked asphalt
under abstruse night,
with unfaltering
honesty
like the nonsense soliloquies of drunken idiots.
"thank you,"
I offer.
"Just doing my job."
