Resigned to
divine times
the subliminally sublime
in the deep corners of the mind
that's where I find

I've lost myself.
Always somewhere else
not ready to put that feeling on a shelf.

For some reason
the seasons changed
inside my brain
and everywhere I looked
I saw pain.

I'm just too afraid
of being mundane
in this great cosmic existence
that I've built a resistance

to living life open
like a great beautiful ocean.
