Perception

Restless, sleep won’t come

The night passes slowly

The ticking of the clock

Counting down

Every second closer to the finale

Can I make it?

Will all be lost?

The sun rises over the horizon

Birds sing their morning songs

The beginning, the end

I curl up under the madness

Sleep takes me
