Storm
Thundering, booming, loudness
Striking fear into young souls
Winds taking down loads
Rain turning up flower beds
I toss and turn
Through the night
My eyes wide open
The noise keeping me awake
I worry for tomorrow
The pouring rain
Pounding on the roof
Like a stampede**
Of angry horses
I wonder how tomorrow will look.
Will there be any sun
To gaze upon in the early morning?
Will there be any beauty?
