There's shattered glass
All over the floor

They're pieces of my heart
You walk out the door.

What is your problem?
Am I not enough?

Is all of my kindness
making you bluff?

Oh no, I've been there,
I have seen all of this.

But what you are doing
You don't give me bliss.

I don't care if you leave
or you stay.

All I'm asking is

Please don't go away.

Those shattered pieces,
Scattered on the floor.

Is my heart,
As you walk out the door.
Let me make a note that none of my love poems are actual human beings. So, yeah.
