And She Has Never Been More at Home
Silently weeping
The darling child
Escapes.
Fear no longer
Has His grip
On Her.
Freedom engulfs
Her dreams
And she knows
(That one day)
Everything will be okay.
And as the day
Comes to an end,
She is released; Damaged.
Pain is her keeper
Nevermore.
